Born and raised in Orlando, Florida, Dave PerMar has been involved in music his entire life. He started singing at the age of 5 in Kindergarten plays and took piano lessons in 3rd grade. He quit those, though, because he didn't want to end up playing, in his words, "Just like my teacher".
