Daniel Anthony Hutton (born September 10, 1942 in the town of Buncrana in Donegal, Ireland), is an American singer, best known as one of the three lead vocalists in the band, Three Dog Night. Hutton moved to the U.S. as a child. While living in Los Angeles, he did voice-overs for animated cartoons and had a brief solo recording career (including the single "Roses and Rainbows") before joining singers Cory Wells and Chuck Negron to found Three Dog Night in 1968.
