Dan Reed Network are a funk-rock band from Portland, Oregon. They formed in 1984 with singer/guitarist Dan Reed, guitarist Brion James, bassist Melvin Brannon II, drummer Dan Pred and keyboardist Rick DiGuiarllonado. In 1987, DiGuiarllonado was replaced by Blake Sakamoto. The band released studio albums Dan Reed Network (1988), Slam (1989), and The Heat (1991) before their unofficial breakup in 1993.
