Gidget Gein (real name Brad Stewart) was Marilyn Manson's original bassist and songwriter. He played all the bass tracks on Manson's first LP “Portrait of an American Family” and co-wrote the song “1996” from Manson’s bestselling album “Antichrist Superstar”, and it has been said that he wrote others as well, on “Antichrist Superstar”. Gidget was one of the original members of Marilyn Manson & the Spooky Kids. In 1993, Gidget was fired from the group for overdosing several times on heroin.
