"(I Don't Know Why) But I Do" is an R&B song written by American songwriters Paul Gayten and Bobby Charles (using his formal name Robert Guidry) that provided Clarence "Frogman" Henry with his biggest U.S. hit, the single reaching No. 4 in the charts in early 1961. The song became popular again after its use in a 1993 UK television commercial for the Fiat Cinquecento, its appearances in the 1994 film "Forrest Gump" and the 1999 film "Mickey Blue Eyes", and in a 2019 commercial for Expedia.
