Ceri Rhys Matthews (born 1960) is a Welsh traditional musician, record producer, and teacher. A co-founder of Fernhill, he plays music with Burum and in a duo with Christine Cooper, of Tenby, as Ceri Rhys Matthews & Christine Cooper. Born and bred in the Welsh-speaking village of Treboeth, now a suburb of Swansea, Matthews plays flute and pipes. He also sings and plays guitar. He has recorded two albums of Bagpipe music; Pibau, with Jonathon Shorland, and Pibddawns, a solo record.
