Cave In is an American rock band formed in 1995 in Methuen, Massachusetts. The band was originally formed by vocalist Jay Frechette and vocalist/guitarist Stephen Brodsky. They named themselves Cave In as a reference to the Codeine song Cave-In. The initial lineup also included guitarist Adam McGrath, drummer John-Robert Conners, and bassist Justin Matthes.
