Caesar Frazier started playing piano at age five. After hearing the organ stylings of Jimmy Smith, Jack McDuff, Shirley Scott, Jimmy McGriff and Booker T. Jones of the MG’S, he was forever attracted to the enormous sounds of the Hammond Organ. By age fifteen, Caesar began playing with a variety of R&B, Blues and Jazz bands. However, he was most attracted to the more complex and sophisticated stylings of Jazz. At present, Caesar Frazier is still enjoying the art of musical performance around the country and keeps close ties to his long time friend and mentor, Lou Donaldson
