Brân were a Welsh singing prog rock band in the last part of the 1970. They released three albums: Ail Ddechra (1975), Hedfan (1976) and Gwrach Y Nos (1978). After their 3rd release, the band evolved into the Welsh folk-rock band Pererin that was active in the early 1980s. Nest Howells assumed the Welsh language singing-drummer position in Brân’s three LP career. Instrumentally, the first is arguably the best to leave the in-house Sain studios at Rockfield.
