Bernd Witthüser (Winterberg, Nordrhein-Westfalen, 29 February 1944 - 4 August 2017) was a German folk musician. He started as a protest singer and busker, made his first mark at the Essener Songtage. He only made one solo album, then he continued making music with Walter Westrupp in the band Witthüser & Westrupp. Later he returned to his busker roots as "Bernelli" and was mostly living in Italy.
