slip is actually unbelievably complex and nothing like Tha. Slip's melody is in 29/8; unprecedented in the world of music. The beats alone, while in 4/4, are constantly changing and altering themselves to fit with the unique emphasis' the melody places on each bar. A perfect example of Autechre blending complexity with accessibility and emotion. While I love Tha, Slip blows it out of the water.
