“Potion Approaching” is Arctic Monkeys' fifth single from their third studio album "Humbug". It was first released on 19 August, 2009 by Domino Records. The band started to write songs for the album towards the end of summer 2008, and finished it entirely in spring 2009. Humbug has been considered a very important piece in Arctic Monkeys' catalogue. It marked the first time they recorded material under Queens of The Stone Age frontman, Josh Homme’s, influence.
