Antonín Vranický, also Wrani(t)zky or Wranitsky (June 13, 1761, Nová Říše – August 6, 1820, Vienna), was a famous Czech violinist and composer of the 18th century. He was the younger brother of composer Pavel Vranický. A.Vranický was a pupil of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Joseph Haydn as he mentioned in a dedication (III QUATUORS pour Deux Violons Alto et Violoncelle composés et dediés a Son Altesse J: Le Prince regnant de Lobkowitz &&. par M.r Ant.
