On July 29, as part of the lead-up to Centipede Hz, Animal Collective began broadcasting weekly "Centipede Radio" shows from a section of their website. During the first show, the first single from the album, "Today's Supernatural" was premiered. The single was also uploaded to Domino Records' YouTube channel on the same day. A music video for "Today's Supernatural" was released on August 16, 2012.
