The core of this unusual band comprises:

ALEX GRAYSON who plays guitars, sings lead & harmony and writes songs on subjects not tackled by well-balanced songwriters;

LYNDON J CONNAH who plays keyboards, guitars, bass, percussion & kazoo, sings lead and harmony and writes songs, equally eccentric but very different;

SEAN KANE who plays drums and sings harmony and somehow retains a sense of perspective, much to the amusement of the deferential Alex & Lyndon.

Occasionally augmented by Andy Herbert on bass guitar and an assortment of guests, the music they create seems to inhabit a rocky road less travelled.

Influences include The Beatles, Joni Mitchell, Stephen Sondheim, Led Zeppelin, Weather Report, Steely Dan & Thomas Dolby.

Comparisons, however, have also been made with Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, Abba meets the Pet Shop Boys (?!), Todd Rundgren, Ben Folds Five, Peter Gabriel, Genesis, Bruce Hornsby, Talking Heads, XTC, Simon & Garfunkel, Crowded House, etc…

Get the picture? Neither do we!

Great harmonies, a little reminiscent of Crosby Stills & Nash; lyrics from strange dark places with bright sunshine bursting through every crack; music from a past, or a future, where bands think not of fashion but of borrowing from everywhere and everyone and creating a magic all their own. Oh, and there’s not much rapping in it!

So come on in…take a look, have a listen, find out where we’re playing and what’s new. If you like what you find, become a card-carrying member of The Mouse Revolution!
