陈琳 (Simplified: 陈琳 Pinyin: Chén Lín) known in English as Chen Lin (b. January 31, 1970 in Chongqing - d. October 31, 2009 in Beijing) was a mandopop singer. She committed suicide by jumping from the ninth floor of an apartment in Chaoyang District, Beijing. She rose to stardom with her 1993 album entitled I Can Never Understand Your Love. It reached the top of the Chinese album charts, selling 1.5 million copies. The singles "I Choose What I Want" and "Give Up Your Love" were great successes.
