New Flowers (НОВИ ЦВЕТЯ/ Novi Tsvetia) is considered as the very first Bulgarian punk band. The band was made by a bunch of youngsters from Kyustendil, Bulgaria, who heard some punk stuff on the Yugoslavian radio and decided to give it a try in 1978. They made their own instruments, recorded demos in their summer kitchen, using a simple reel to reel recorder.
