Headlined by Ireland's finest, Altar of Plagues - true heirs to Wolves in the Throne Room's atmospheric black metal crown. 'Mammal' is sure to rank highly in many end-of-year lists and has already notched a spot in the top half of Pitchfork's metal top 40. They rightly call it "fist-pumping/goosebump-raising music" http://bit.ly/PITCH40

The Wounded Kings superb 'In the Chapel of the Black Hand' is also sure to make the more knowledgeable lists. Metal Review gave it 9.5/10 and called it an "epic triumph". http://bit.ly/TWKreview That it is. We can't wait to see how the new female vox-fronted line up works live.

Pombagira have also been gaining accolades for new album 'Iconoclast Dream', about which Doomantia say "This is the kind of record that shakes your innards and makes your bones hurt long after it is all over and done with." http://bit.ly/DOOMpomb Fancy some of that live then? We do.

Rosicrucian play their own brand of atmospheric black metal and look to have a big future. There's a great review & a couple of songs from their EP 'Beneath The Waves' here: http://bit.ly/ROSIreview

Thorun are another band we predict a big future for. Doomantia rate their new EP 'Chorus of Giants' 9.5/10 http://bit.ly/DOOMthorun And if you have a listen to it here http://bit.ly/THORUNband you'll see why.

Bear-Man are the perfect openers for this special gig. We first saw them supporting Thought Forms & Primordial Undermind in Cardiff and were knocked out. http://bit.ly/BEAR-MANlive We gave them the sole support slot for Acid Mothers Temple in Bridgend and they did another great job. This time they'll be performing a special improv on the theme of "dissonance" and we can't wait.

The action will get underway at 4.30pm prompt. We'll be recording Bear-Man, Thorun & Rosicrucian's sets and a free download link will be provided to everyone who turns up to see them.

If you're still standing after Altar of Plagues you can stick around for free entry to a new club night called Mirror Fooker: http://www.facebook.com/events/296483297039704
