EntropiK is the creative partnership of Deryn and Dan, formerly known as Cellofiend. They are experimental and innovative musicians with decades of experience between them. South African born Deryn has been playing the cello for over 20 years, and has diverse experience as an orchestral, chamber and solo musician, as well as many years working as an improvising cellist with rock and acoustic bands in South Africa and the UK. Dan has been a writer, guitarist and engineer/ producer for as long as he can remember. He has worked as a frontman in bands and written a vast collection of songs in varying styles. The pair have been working together since February 2006, and are focusing on writing music for media projects. ****************************************************************************************************
Currently, Dan and Deryn are writing, arranging and recording music for various media projects including independent films and multimedia projects. They were recently commissioned by Amber Pictures (see www.amberpictures.co.uk) to compose additional music for the Sci-Fi/ Horror feature film, Bane. The film is due for commercial release in 2008.
They have completed a short film “the corpse wore white” for www.micafilms.co.uk and are currently working on another short for the same company

Aieron - there is an album called Empty Highways recorded when EntropiK was still known as Cellofiend. It's available to purchase from www.strikingmediamusic.com/merchandise and can also be downloaded from iTunes. The latest album, Reflections on Time has not yet been released but there is a downloadable EP available from www.beatpick.com/Striking-Media-Music.
